e-commatrix.com® inc. and partner, The Manahan Group announce AirAlert testing at JFK Airport

MEDIA ADVISORY

WHAT: AirAlert, the only Web-based crisis communications product designed specifically for airports, will be tested for a three-month period by JFK Airport, under an agreement with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The airport has been working closely with developer e-commatrix.com® inc. (ecm) to customize the product to fit their specific needs and to provide feedback on future upgrades as part of ecm’s policy of continual product improvement.

WHEN: Testing of the AirAlert system is currently underway.

DETAILS: AirAlert is a Web-based system that allows one airport employee to alert potentially thousands of people to an emergency within seconds and manage the airport’s communications throughout a crisis. Phone numbers, pager numbers and email addresses of everyone who should be notified in an emergency are programmed into the system so alerts can go out simultaneously to all of them.

A secure back-end section of the Web site allows airport managers, emergency responders, and other pertinent people to communicate with each other using wireless-enabled laptops, personal data assistants (PDAs) and cell phones with text messaging. Messages can also be posted in an Internet chat room so that everyone can keep up with what’s happening.

The AirAlert system is currently operating at Yeager Airport in Charleston, West Virginia. e-commatrix.com® inc., a wholly owned subsidiary or Andromeda Media Capital Corporation Limited, is focused on providing breakthrough eBusiness and eCommerce proprietary products and services. These products are introduced to market through an international network of licensed partners as complimentary product lines to their existing solutions, and under a progressive revenue-sharing model. e-commatrix.com® inc. aggressively sources new partners worldwide.
